Supporting The Group
All Scout Groups rely on parental support to continue to provide quality Scouting to all its members.
All the adults involved are volunteers and give their time freely. There are approximately 18 Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Executive members in the Group, so it is vitally important for the parents/guardians of children in the group to help where they can.
If anyone is interested helping on a regular or occasional basis you should let your section leaders know.
There are other ways in which your support would be appreciated. If you have any
skills that can be shown to the young people or that can be used in the repair and
We are now able to reclaim the tax element of subscriptions paid by members. Please help us reclaim this money by completing a declaration when your child joins the group.
You must be eligible to pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax we reclaim on the payments. You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the Scout Group.
Each Section is open to both boys and girls. Your child's age will determine the Section they can join.

There can be up to a 6 month over lap to allow Groups of friends to move between Sections together.
There is a monthly subs charge of £12.00 for Beavers and Cubs, whilst Scouts is £14.00 Both payable via BACS every month. On occasions we may ask for you to subsidise a small amount to cover additional costs. Subs can be paid monthly or yearly

If at any time you experience difficulties with subs then please don't be embarrassed as we all struggle sometimes, speak to us. The matter will be strictly confidential and we will do our best to help you.
We do not normally meet during the school holidays. There are also rare times when
we have the need to cancel our usual weekly meetings -
Scout Active Support is for anyone over the age of 18 years. It is a way for adults to volunteer time to Scouting in a flexible way that suits them.
