Supporting The Group

All Scout Groups rely on parental support to continue to provide quality Scouting to all its members.

All the adults involved are volunteers and give their time freely. There are approximately 18 Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Executive members in the Group, so it is vitally important for the parents/guardians of children in the group to help where they can.

If anyone is interested helping on a regular or occasional basis you should let your section leaders know.

There are other ways in which your support would be appreciated. If you have any skills that can be shown to the young people or that can be used in the repair and up-keep of the Scout Hall, these would be gratefully received.

Gift Aid

We are now able to reclaim the tax element of subscriptions paid by members. Please help us reclaim this money by completing a declaration when your child joins the group.

You must be eligible to pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax we reclaim on the payments. You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the Scout Group.
